Rare highlights and goals when Ronaldo was a teenager in Sporting Lisbon. He first joined the club at age 11, essentially becoming a professional athlete at age 11. He made his debut for the senior team at age 17. Ronaldo then signed to play for Manchester United, becoming the first-ever Portuguese to play for the Red Devils. He signed for €15 million (£12.24 million) after the 2002--03 season at 18 years old.
